I love a good theme, and they kept with it throughout-from the bathrooms (“outhouses”) to the artwork on the walls. Mama’s Minute: Safari run is a great place for parents too! It’s a nice indoor playground with one entrance/exit (but beware, my 2 year old figured out the gate real quick and the snacks are right at eye level on the other side!) The play area and bathrooms were all very clean, which is saying something-I’ve been to a few that didn’t look like they’d been wiped down in weeks. We both liked to swing like monkeys on the ropes and hanging things, but mama had a hard time getting through all that-we had fun watching her get stuck in them! There was also a small kid area with its own gate that she liked to play in, but it was a little baby-ish for me-might be for kids that are like 2 and 3.
PLANO SAFARI RUN ZIP
My favorite part was the two zip lines that went across snake pits, I tried not to fall in! Freya liked the balance beam that went over a shark pit, she kept pretending to fall in and getting eaten. They have a really cool alligator slide that goes super fast and one that looks like a waterfall, the zebra one was fun too but it made me dizzy with all the loops it did. I thought I was really in the jungle when I climbed through all the tunnels and saw different animals, like the tiger up top and the tall giraffes. Safari Run is a fun place to check out on a rainy day, like when we went.
